I'm not so surprised if I could write like Stephen King because I love his books  and has read The Shining, Insomnia, Needful Things and The Green Mile.

...and who would think I'd write like science fiction writer Arthur C Clark! Though I love science fiction, too, but I'm more of a Tom Clancy and Robert Heinlein reader. I looked up Arthur C Clark's work and it is pretty extensive and a must check!

Do you know Mowgli of "The Jungle Book" ? This book is just so amazing and must-read of everyone ( kids and the kids-at-heart ::wink::)

An excerpt from my favorite Kipling poem If:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

Read not to contradict and confute; nor to believe and take for granted;
nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider.
Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed,
and some few to be chewed and digested:
that is, some books are to be read only in parts,
others to be read, but not curiously, and some few
to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.
