1. Would you rather have a pet hippo or a pet elephant? If I won't clean after them, I'd choose either one. I can ride with the elephant and the hippo can teach me to walk below water!

2. Why do you think bananas are shaped the way they are? To make it ergonomic? I don't know. Really, is that a serious question? As I read, my mind's turning green...LOL.
3. In one word (OK, you can go three to four MAX) , what do most people describe you as? Bitchy. Smart-ass. Resourceful

4. Choice (stupid but a choice…): Loss of vision, ability to speak or hearing - which do you choose? (you have to choose one....) It's like a law. But we can't make you. Loss of ability to speak(because I can write).

5. Do you like lemons? Do you use them to clean with or just as a food source? Or are you saving them up for 2012? I include the rind when I wash the dishes, I use them when I take bath, I make lemonade out of it...The question is...why would we save lemons for 2012?

6. When you are feeling icky with that sickness feeling, what is your first choice for feel-better medicine? Sleep my way through it.

7. You are starving. You have not had anything to eat for days. In front of you is poison ivy, a live hissing cockroach, and a rotten stinky piece of some sort of mystery meat to eat. Which would you pick and why? How starved is starving? cuz I certainly WILL NOT eat poison ivy (the name speaks for itself) and I'm scared to death of cockroaches! Mystery meat is a NO! If there's no  EDIBLE food in a few more days, I'll die in peace!

8. Who was the last person you bought a present for? What was it? Will you buy Berleen one? Teddy. It was a pair of flip-flops that I impulsively bought at the market (it was inexpensive). Sure I'd buy Berleen a pair, in case she wants to go to the beach. I'd buy one for Bud and Kimber, too.  I'd buy for Thom, too since he is Hawaii!

9. Name 3 things you want your kids to learn before they grow up. (If you don't have kids, feel free to explain to the other players why you chose the “no kids“ choice. Yea. I know. (Those who have children will NEVER get it. And no, don‘t explain it…) No kids.Yet.

10. What was your favorite toy as a child? What happened to it? Marbles. I lost it :)

11. If you could paint your house ANY color you wanted and your friends, family & neighbors would love the color from the moment they saw it, what would it be? DARK RED? Okay, i know that's reaching too far -- I guess I'll just choose BRIGHT YELLOW.

12. If the Pillsbury Dough Boy got into a fight with Mrs. Butterworth who would win? And would anybody get hurt? And do we seem desperate even asking? What will they be fighting about, anyway?

1. Your thoughts on hunting?
~Just don't get yourself shot at!
2. Swine Flu vaccine... will you get it?
~Why get any flu vaccine? Then I won't have reason for a sick leave? ;)
3. What is one job/profession that you think there are just too many of? ~Nurses. Even our HR clerk is a nurse.

4. I want to go on a diet, what advice will you offer me?
~get smaller plate, or stay away from restaurants with eat-all-you-can buffet tables.
5. You are going out on a date with someone for the very first time. When you get into their car, you see a box of condoms on the floor. What do you do?
~I guess I'd pick it up and ask, "Is this yours?". No, no, that's silly. I guess it's even sillier to display condoms on the first date unless he wants to tell me something else, and in that case, he will never never get to first base.
6. Name something in your bathroom that shouldn't be there.
~i don't know. Everything in my bathroom should be there anyway.
7. What was your Kindergarten teacher like?
~glasses, pulled up chignon, high heels, ruler in hand and a shrill voice.

~I will grab as much as I can and run like hell out!

2. In August 1969, the Manson family went on a 2 night killing spree. Do you think 40 years later they have paid for their crimes?
~I'd rather shackle them inside the Queen's Dungeon for eternity or let's do Adam Sandler's "Little Nicky" on them!

3. Power Outage! What's the longest you have been without power?
~a week during last year's supertyphoon "Milenyo"

4. Just bought a new tazer gun. Will you let it be tested it on you to see if it works, and how it feels to be tazered?
~No. Would you?

5. A neighbor's mail was delivered to you. In it is a magazine not wrapped in plastic. Is it ok for you to flip through it before giving it to the neighbor? Do you tell them you looked through it?
~ I might, if I find the cover interesting, and no, I won't tell the neighbor to make him/her sweat what am I smirking about. ;)

6. If I went through your purse/wallet right now, what all would I find in there?
~a few bills, my cricket lighter, lipbalm, moisturizer, SPF80 sunblock, a pen, unopened coffee sachet, paper clips, my fave cologne of the day, uhm...do you really what to go through my purse? lol

1. You walk into a store and the cashier is being held up by a robber. The robber's accomplice is dead on the floor at your feet with a shotgun laying next to him. The robber does not see you, but the cashier does - what do you do?

~I'll signal to the cashier to be quiet and be heroic. I'll creep up on the S.O.B. and chug him with the fire extinguisher. ;)

2. We go to an ice cream shop for an ice cream cone. You say you are buying and I am going to stay in the car. You ask me what I want and I say "surprise me", what kind of ice cream cone am I going to get?

~fudgy chocolate with pecans and almonds. Well, I think I'm going to eat it myself!

3. You have a dream that your co-worker, friend or whoever is hit by a garbage truck after they back into a ladder with a black cat on it. The next day you see that person standing by a ladder with a black cat on it and there is a garbage truck driving down the road.... what do you do?

~I'll wait if my dream would come true...haha. Kidding aside, maybe I'll warn tht person to get out of the way. Or maybe I'll stop the truck instead.

4. What is the most money you've won on a lottery or scratch off ticket?

` I haven't won in any raffle contests, much more on lottery. I think I'm unlucky on that part...

5. A neighbor kid down the street comes to your door and offers to wash all of your windows outside for $10 - do you have him do it?

~ I don't have $10 at the moment.

6. Go to Google Images. Type in the name of the last movie you saw. Post the first picture that comes up.

7. Your local animal shelter calls you and says there are 3 dogs that need an immediate foster home for 3 days. If you do not accept, the dogs are put down that day. Do you take them in?

~Yes. And I'm sure my landlady will throw the dogs , and ME, out because she hates pets of any kind. Thanks God, She does not live in the building!

8. What is the messiest room in your home?

~Kitchen. It seems there's always something cooking / warming on the stove. There's always dishes on the sink, food on the table etc.

9. Have you ever been to a wedding that participated in a strange tradition that you had never heard of?

~ I haven't been into any weddings lately.

10. Name one sport that you just don't get.

~GOLF. You swing the ball, chase to wherever it lands, and try to put in a hole?

When we started Thursday Thunks, there was 3-4 usually a week. We try to read and comment on each Thunker each week. As a work at home mom and a stay at home/homeschooling mom, we don't always have the time. Life tends to get in the way. We do want you to know we love and appreciate your participation!!! 1. What color is your front door? Dark, boring brown
2. We discussed our folks in previous TT so now tell me about your siblings. If you are an only child, tell me whether or not you wanted siblings, older, younger etc.Well, now. I'm the eldest of 4. No, I'm the 5th of 8... ;) I actually have 4 half-siblings older than me though I haven't met them, or even talked about them at home ( only half-whispers from my relatives). They (not the half-siblings) are Roger, who's 30 and married with 2 kids; Melchor ( the taciturn one)  who is 10 years younger than I am and Rhenz our youngest who is 12 years younger.
3. What color/type butterfly is your favorite? I like all shades and colors of butterflies, though I seldom see them here in the city except in butterfly gardens set up in malls.
4. Will you be celebrating Cinco De Mayo? No. But here in the Philippines, we have May 1 as Labor Day and May 7 as my nth birthday! ;)
5. Oprah- love her, hate her, or don't care? Don't care. I love Tyra Banks more...
6. Are you worried about the spread of swine flu? Yes, but not panicky. Certain precautions must taken though. News advisories are very helpful.
7. Hard or soft pillows? Soft and hard pillows.
8. How many trees are in your neighbor's yard? Let me think...I think there are no trees around my neighbors houses because there's no yard, just apartment complexes and pavements and walls...
9. What was the color of the last car you saw? I think it was silver.
10. When does your driver's license expire? On my birthday.

12. When you put your pants on, what leg do you put in first? I don't know. Does it matter? I think my left foot.

I am an ugly woman. I was an ugly baby and child even! It is a fact. I am 36 now and I have never had a boyfriend, and I am still a virgin.

Due to me not having men in my life, I have poured everything I have in to education and my career. At 36 I am the youngest (and first female CEO) at a big, successful, tech company. I have over 200 personal patents and millions of pounds in investments.

I have everything: huge house, holiday villa in Spain, 3 cars, power boat, a race horse, etc. but as much I try to talk myself into everything being “great” I cannot help but to miss that special someone to share it all with.

Most of my friends are married with kids and I feel like I am gradually drifting away from them also.

9. For the parents - what cartoon/children show did your child watch obsessively? (Hey, if you aren't a parent, maybe a niece or nephew...) Tom and Jerry. I even watch it sometimes.

10. If I set a level on your living room floor - would it show that it was level? Yes, I think so. But who would care, really? As in life, it's a matter of perspective!
11. What was the last restaurant you ate at? Kanin Club at Paseo de Sta Rosa ("Kanin" is a Tagalog that means Rice)

12. What's the picture on your wall calendar for this month? There are no picture on my calendar.

14. If I get into your car and turn on the radio - what type of radio station will I hear? I don't usually listen to the radio nowadays, I like my ipod better. I only listen to the news on radio if there is a typhoon and I can't get to the TV.

4. What is the last thing you do before you go to sleep at night? Think of tomorrow's schedule.

5. Who's your Daddy? Someone who loves me, being a daddy's girl. 6. Jelly beans or Jelly Bellies? Neither. Too sweet for me. 
7. What do you think about yellow car? Why car manufacturer actually made yellow cars? I think of taxicabs, I wonder why most taxi's are yellow?
