SWF and Friday Fill-In!

It's a very rainy day TODAY, so I'm posting something sunny and bright! This was taken by my cuz Cy when she went to Bataan. I hope Mr. Sun shines tomorrow! Visit the home of  Skywatch Friday to find beautiful skies all over the world.

My cousin Cy went here last summer : Anvaya Cove, Bataan, Philippines (Lucky her!)

Friday Fill-In #193

1. My back is killing me and screaming for a massage.

2. Born to be wild.

3. Leaves are falling all around, and the grass smell sweet today.

4. Stress results forgetfulness.

5. Healing is God's design.

6. Slaving at the office and cutting my lunch time in half to blogging time is what I've been up to lately!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a little quality time at home, tomorrow my plans include finishing up the pending audit  items at the office  and Sunday, I want to catch up on my sleep (and laundry, too LOL)!

To see more Friday Fill Ins, visit Janet and the home of FFI here.

...and then HOP over Fun Follow Friday and Follow Me Friday to meet new friends!

Happy Friday!

How Small are we?

Say to yourself, ‘I’m here on purpose, I can accomplish anything I desire, and I do it by being in harmony with the all-pervading creative force in the universe.

Contentment

Teddy on his way home from Cagayan Valley

“There is no end of craving. Hence contentment alone is the best way to happiness. Therefore, acquire contentment.”-- Indian proverb

But does the human heart ever find it? We look for it, elusive and undefined, in almost every nook and cranny of our lives.

If contentment means being happy with what we have,  does it mean we have to be ambitionless to be content?

Qoute of the Day:

True contentment depends not upon what we have; a tub was large enough for Diogenes, but a world was too little for Alexander.

Skywatching at Subic

at Subic, Zambales

Let the sea wind blow,
Restore your heart, and lift your
once broken spirit.

Let the sea wave wash
Away your tears, and the pain
That once pierced your soul.

Let the sunlight warm
Your smile and laugh once more
Oh! Just like before!

Join the fun!

Skywatching ~ Green + Blue

We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from whence we came...

Hulagway ni NiKoy somewhere off the coast of Pagudpud

I'm glad to be back! This one was taken by JV during his R&R at Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte, off the northern tip of the Philippines during his travel last November as field auditor of one of the largest Agritech companies here.

Skywatching in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

A must stop-over in Northern Philippines. I remembered this picture from 2 years ago and I know I have to post it on Skywatch Friday!

Check this beautiful place here!

Mellow Yellow Monday in La Union

Come see so many beautiful skies here, or you can share yours, too!

I like sunsets better than sunrises because it keeps your perspective. Chaos could happen through the day, but it doesn't matter, really because everything will calm down in the end.

Sunset at La Union, Philippines, (one of the best surfing getaway ) taken when I and a group of friends went for a little R&R last year.
