Joy.

When you laugh, I see
not the yellows, reds or blues
but joy of life, free

my godson Gyan Andrei

You got to love him! Happy Monday! A perfect day to start the week.

See more yellows here, and a bit (or a lot) of blue here. Do you want red, it's here!

Oh, how I love Mondays! (And you have to forgive me for the exclamation marks! Hugs!)

A lot of Wordless here, too!

3WW -- gait, nudge, ripen

a child's clumsy gait
can nudge a withered garden
to bloom and ripen.

gait (n) - manner of walking or running; bearing
nudge (tr. v) - To push against gently, especially in order to gain attention or give a signal.
ripen (vb) - to make or become ripe

Light. Dark.

Update 28Sept2010:

My entry for Ruby Tuesday, too!

Difference in timezones :)

Six Word Saturday -- getting better and better...

Life is good, and getting better.

...and I say that with great optimism. Life is really good, if one would appreciate those little things that give us joys. Money's tight sometimes most of the time, but someone or something saves me at the 11th hour. Events and circumstances can be tricky, too but I say gamble calculate your risk and jump! At the end of the day, don't count your cuts and bruises but remember the exhilaration of the moment and the lessons picked along the way!

Big Bang!

It's been a while since I joined this fabulous site and I'm glad to be back! Mellow Yellow Monday is a great place to see all kinds of YELLOW to brighten up your week!

"We anoint their fuses with a tiny amount of fire, and they come alive, playing out their life span in a matter or seconds.  In those few seconds a crack in the universe is opened, giving us a glimpse of the energy locked within all matter."

Addendum: this is for my Wordless Wednesday, too!

Red is in the air in Baguio City!

Baguio, Philippines -- known also as the City of Pines, as the summer capital of the Philippines. Baguio was known for silver ornaments, flowers (they have the "Panagbenga Festival"), fresh fruits and vegetables especially strawberries!

Just Php85.00 entrance fee for adults.

Going Home

Time seems long till morn,

stomach churning, heart skipping

to hold your hand, 't last!

See you soon, JV!

Ruby and Word(less) Tuesday~Christmas is coming!

I woke up cold and I realized, it's December! 25 days to go before Christmas and so this is really a great Ruby Tuesday!
I haven't been really posting as much as I should because I've been busy (as in deadbeat) at work with month-end closing of accounting books and pulling in of receivables and all...
The breeze this morning's a bit crispier than yesterday, I thought, as I rushed out of the house (late, as usual).
JV and I's been talking a lot lately, via SMS, as he's been in Aparri,Cagayan on a field audit since last month. Maybe it's true that absence makes the heart grow fonder, as it is with us. I know that if we will be together (as in "together"), then we need to work out a long distance relationship every now and then.
The new year would be exciting, with a lot of changes coming. I can feel it already. But I want to be mum about it a bit longer, as we need to finalize a lot of things before the year ends.
Anyway, happy RT!

Off to Caramoan Peninsula

The 8th season of Koh-Lanta (French edition of Survivor), was shot entirely in Caramoan. TV director Corinne Vaillant, stated that "the powdery sand, the coconuts on Gota beach and the neighboring islets are a 'dream' for the French people. We chose Caramoan because it’s really wild. It’s necessary that contestants don’t see anything other than nature for them to believe that they’re really lost in the wilds.”

Flower Heaven

No Difference by Shel Silverstein

Small as a peanut,
Big as a giant,
We're all the same size
When we turn off the light.
Rich as a sultan,
Poor as a mite,
We're all worth the same
When we turn off the light.
Red, black or orange,
Yellow or white,
We all look the same
When we turn off the light.
So maybe the way
To make everything right
Is for God to reach out
And turn off the light!
